Advanced Program in Fiction Writing (12 Lessons)

Lesson Five - Revising and rewriting. Six ways to polish a manuscript...step-by-step revisions by famous authors.

Lesson Six - Writing a successful fiction manuscript. Combining imagination with thoughtful organization. Using the Principles of Good Writing to create a successful story.

Second Semester - How to Establish Your Style and Write for Publication

Lesson Seven - Workshop Assignment. This evaluation gives you professional help on a manuscript of your own choice.

Lesson Eight - Developing your style. Honing your writing to reflect a special, personal flavor that's right for you. Telling a story in the first person.

Lesson Nine - Flashbacks and clues. How to handle the subtle art of foreshadowing. Using the flashback as a vital, effective element of your story.

Lesson Ten - The subtleties of dialogue. How to refine ordinary conversation so that every word advances the story, delineates character and intensifies the emotional impact.

Lesson Eleven - The end...and the beginning. In this lesson you put together all of the components covered in the Fiction Writing Course to create a satisfying well-structured story.

Lesson Twelve - Workshop Assignment. With the completion of this graduation assignment you can face the future with confidence - knowing that you have received complete and practical training to become a successful writer. And as a lasting testimonial to your achievement you will have earned a Certificate of Recognition, shown here.
